A word I think that defines me is the word EXCITING.

I think it defines me because I can be random at times and I love to do things that I never done before. I hate being bored and talking to boring people. It brings me down. The word EXCITING means to be activate. The word EXCITING means to me is to be , energetic, to be random at times and to just be yourself and

Fake Friends vs Real Friends

Fake friends never ask for food. Real friends are the reason why you don't have food. Fake friends call your parents mr/mrs. Real friends call your parents mom/dad. Fake friends bail you out of jail and tell you what you did was wrong. Real friends would be sitting right next to you saying "Man we mess up but that was fun". Fake friends have never seen you cry. Real friends cry with you. Fake friends will leave you behind if thats what the crowd is doing. Real friends will hurt anyone who hurt you. Fake friends are for awhile.

Real friends are for life.

TODAY IN MATH

Today in math I learn about Area of Regular Polygons and Perimeters and Area of Similar Figures. I kinda understood it. It is kinda difficult for me because if you don't know the formulas and understand how to use it you would not understand the problems.

Area of an Equilateral Triangle:

The Tell-Tale Heart

A man has gone mad. He wants to kill an old man that lives with him. So the man plans to kill him because of the old man evil eye. The evil eye drives the man crazy. About every night, about midnight, the man would turned the latch of the old man door and opened it. Then he would go in the pitched black room with a dark lantern. Then the man undid the lantern cautiously so just a single thin ray of light fell upon the evil eye. He did this for seven long nights. On the eight night when he was about to open the lantern his thumb slipped upon the tin fastening, and the old man sprang up from the bed and cried out "Who's there"? The man kept still. The old man did not go back to sleep. He just sat up on his bed looking out into the darkeners. The old man fears over came him, but in fact death was approaching him. As the man was waiting he opened the lantern so very carefully and a single ray fell upon the old man wide open eye. Meantime his heart beat increased. It grew louder and louder every instant. The old man hour had came. With a loud yell the man threw the old man on the floor. The old man died. The man cut up the old man's head, arms, and legs off and put the body under the planks of the floor. Around four in the morning some officers to search the premises because someone heard some yelling. The man let the officers in and showed them the house. He told the officers that the old man left on a vacation. They went into the old man bedroom. As they were there the man could hear a ringing noise in his ear it became louder and louder until it drove him crazy. He couldn't take it anymore so he told the officer he kill the old man.

The most memorable line in this story is the line "I heard many things in hell. How, then am I mad"? (pg. 3) This line represents the story because this story is about a crazy man who kills an old man. He kills an old man because of his evil eye.

The main characters in this story of the Tell-Tale Heart. There were only two main characters. The first man characters was a man. He is kinda crazy. He is always nervous. He plans a way to kill the old man that lives with him because of his evil eye makes him mad. He loves the old man. The old man never did anything wrong to him but because of his eye his has to kill him. The second main character is the old man. He lives with the man who wants to kill him. He is very old. He has dull blue eyes. He has a lot of money. He lives in a big beautiful house. The man thinks of the old man eye as vulture eyes. One day he just make up his mind that he was going to kill the old man and rid himself of the eye forever. The man was never kind to the old man. He just waited for a perfect moment to kill him and he did.

If I was in charge of a studio and had to make this story into a film. The star that I would pick for this film would be Johnny Depp to be the crazy man. For the old man I would pick any old looking man to play him. Also in the story there were two officers who came into the house. I would pick any two actors for them. The reason I pick Johnny Depp to be the main character is because I think he is a great actor. He can play any person you want. I don't think that I would leave anything out in this movie because this story is good and if you leave something out the story wouldn't make any sense. I think I would add the man helping the old man before he plans to kill him and how the old man's eye drove him mad, because at first you kinda didn't understand why the eye drove the man crazy. I think you don't need to add to much things into this film.

Fights

The couple that fights the most is the one most in love... it shows they care enough to notice the other one screwed up and care enough to mention it to the person so they can fix it. When you stop fighting it means you stopped caring.

TODAY IN HISTORY

Today in History I learn about Mesoamerica. Mesoamerica is the area around Mexico and South America. There were so many civilizations like the Olmec, Teotihucan, Maya, Toltec, Aztec, and the Inca that lived in that area.

The Olmec were the first complex society in Mesoamerica. They were known as the "Rubber People", because they were the first known civilization that created the rubber ball. They farmed around muddy riverbanks, were they grew maize, beans, and squash. The Olmec had large cities, the cities were the place of worship.

Teotihucan was the first major city in Mesoamerica. Teotihucan means "Place Of Gods". It was around from 250 B.C. to 800A.D. The city had about two hundred thousand people.

The Maya were located east of Teotihucan. This civilization lived around from 300 A.D. to 900A.D. They were the most sophisticated civilization. They built temples and pyramids and also created a complicated calendar. The Mayans created two calendars one based on solar calender of 365 days, 18 months of 20 days each, with an extra five days at the end. The other calender was based on sacred calendar of 260 days divided into 13 weeks of 20 days each. Only Priests could read this calendar. The Mayans thought that having a prized long backward sloping forehead and crossed-eyes were beautiful.

The Toltec lived around from 950 A.D. to 1200 A.D. They were warlike people. They believed in two gods, Quetzalcoatl-plumped serpent, and Tezcatlipoca-smoked mirror. They expanded their empire all the way down to Mayan Lands.

The Aztec lived from 1200s to 1500s. They arrived from the north to central Mexico. No one welcomed so they had to go in on a island on Lake Texcoco. Their city was made up of four million people. They were polytheistic. They believed in Huitzilopochti-God of Sun and War, and Quetzalcoati-Feathered serpent. In 1519 Hernan Cortez arrived on Aztec land. The caused of the destruction of the Aztec was killed during revolt and there was no immunity to European diseases.

The Inca lived around 1400s to 1500s. They lived in what is today Peru. They had one king with absolute power. They used backs of Llamas for transportation and used use irrigation system. They capital city was Machu Picchu. The destruction of the Inca were the spread epidemic of small pox that the European brought.
